The nice thing about being the one in the family with 'the camera' is that you always get to share in annual family photo traditions! So far we've done photos for my sister Janelle & her boyfriend Chris, and Chris's daughter Chloe, as well as their new puppy Schotsie! We also did some quick pics for my brother Mack & sister in law Leah. Love you guys!! xoxo
Haven't posted in a long long time. I have done a few shoots this year but certainly haven't been a busy as last year, and it's mostly by choice. I found last year that editing took up every second of my spare time and it was a bit overwhelming! I am working on finding a happy medium where I can find a balance between my full time job, my family and my home and still keep my skills relatively sharp with the camera! Here's a sampling of some of the photos I've done in 2011 since the last time I posted!
Holden is an 'out of province' client! His Grandma Barb is a Kinette that I used to volunteer with, so when Holden's big sister Ryleigh was born a couple of years ago I took her pictures when she was only 2 months old. Now that baby brother Holden has been added to the family, I got to continue the tradition. What a sweet, GOOD baby. He cooperated so well! He fell asleep and just let us move him and maneuver him into new positions for more pictures! What a sweet little honey.
My friend Lisa and I have talked about doing a photo shoot of her and her boys for a long time now. We finally got around to it this January and here are the results! Her two dogs (Bugsy & Harley) have a lot of energy and it took a few hundred shots to capture them sitting still. Thanks Lisa for the fun afternoon & visit and we'll do it again soon with a disc drop off!
I love repeat business. :) Mostly because I get to see people's kids grow up and change and get to spend some real quality time with them. But also because it means people like what I do enough to ask me back! This was my third shoot in one year with the Tanners. We did Fall/Christmas photos last year, and then Baby/Family pics this spring when their newest little bundle arrived. I LOVED putting the Santa hat on these adorable kids and capturing their sweet smiles. Merry Christmas Tanners - and to all of my other friends/clients from 2010!
